FORM ....... less

Things that you need to be raymond man.i.e, "The Complete Man".  These things are individually exclusive and are different from person to person. These things are defined by the man himself. For some its money. For some its pleasure. For some its passion. For a real Rock 'n Rolla he wants 'em all. Among many of the things I have in my list majority of them are art forms. Which made be contemplate on the question "what is art?".

I have come across sportsmen whom people hailed as great and incredible and a good majority (read more than 90%) are narcissistic A-holes. They don't care about the team's win they just want their whims and fancies to be taken care. I lost a match and because of that I lost a tournament. I have known artists who were hailed as supremely talented. But they have time and again proved to be incredible assholes who don't follow civil behavior and they are mostly bound to the laws of society like we are. So why should I learn arts or sports from these supreme A-holes.

Why don't I just ignore what they are get my work done? 'Coz I despise people like that. I hate people who will be with anyone just to get their work done. I cannot be what I hate.

All of this came to question 2. Why should you learn music or any other art form in ways that people dictate? Bruce Lee learned 8 different martial arts and went through hell before he declared that form or styles is constricting. Forms of martial arts or any art actually tells what to do. Which means they are also telling you to walk a certain path only. "Do what is efficient and effective" is the intent of Bruce Lee's teachings about martial arts. The same applies to dance, songs , movie making and literally every art. What if a song can more effectively be represented in the fusion of 8 different dance forms? What if the feelings of an artist can only be expressed when Rock music is played across a veena? What if???? and the list continues.

Why don't we learn what is effective to us and is efficient? Even if we want to learn how to draw or paint why don't we do it the way we like rather than following these curve making and stuff? For not-so-smart people like me I need the instruction to start off. What about all those brilliant people out there? Why do they do it? People will stoop to levels of learning from characterless people to learn what they like. Why don't they start all by themselves and start a new form?

To have a form or to be formless or to follow someone no matter what to confine ourselves to rules set ages ago.
